Countdown: 256 days

So I finally finalized the guest list!!! We now have 151 people who will be invited to our wedding and most of them are family members. That is A LOT of people and therefore I am putting my foot down and saying no one else will be invited. I have to say that I am going to have to stop being nice and letting family members tell me how I'm going to run Joey & I's wedding!!!!

Well this week I also finished getting the save-the-dates ready and they went in the mail this morning!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now my job for the next couple of weeks is to get my bridesmaid's zippers and stuff for their dress and I need to start looking into hotels for our out-of-town guests. If anyone knows of any pretty cheap hotels in the Richmond & Westheimer area, please let me know.

Wedding Wednesday

Some people might not put much thought into their guest book but I really wanted mine to be special. I don't want to just throw a book in my closet and never look at it again. So I REALLY wanted a signature frame as my guest book.

But Joey was afraid that when people wrote on it that it might smear. So then I had to search for a guest book that we both liked and that I felt went well with our wedding scheme. Then last Thursday as I was reading an entry from The Perfect Palette I came across a give away from Beau-coup Wedding Favors. So I checked out their website to see if I saw any thing that I liked and I found the PERFECT guest book.

This guest book is perfect for our wedding because our accent colors are white & silver and its personalized. I will find out today if I won the give away but even if I didn't I will be purchasing this guest book! You can find these guest books and more at Beau-coup.

Tisk Task Tuesday

Countdown: 263 days
Well let me first say that I didn't get to finish my task from last week of finalizing the guest list. I am still waiting on Joey's dad to send me his names. I did however get the names from my foster mom and now were up to 140 guests.

I did get to complete a task this weekend that wasn't necessarily on my to-do list for this month. I took my mom shopping for an outfit to wear to the wedding. We got a really nice blue skirt suit outift with some cream color wedged heels and some pearl accessories for $100!

For this week my main task is to get the save the dates ready to mail out. They should arrive this week and my goal is to get them addressed, stuffed and stamped. Hopefully I can mail them out next week!

Blue Monday

Today's Blue Monday is all about wedding programs. I have decided that this is the one DIY project that I will take on for our wedding. I have found a couple that I like but the one that I have chose to imitate is the one with the monogram on the ribbon. It ties into our theme perfectly with the colors and the monogram.
