Tisk Task Tuesday

Countdown: 256 days

So I finally finalized the guest list!!! We now have 151 people who will be invited to our wedding and most of them are family members. That is A LOT of people and therefore I am putting my foot down and saying no one else will be invited. I have to say that I am going to have to stop being nice and letting family members tell me how I'm going to run Joey & I's wedding!!!!

Well this week I also finished getting the save-the-dates ready and they went in the mail this morning!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now my job for the next couple of weeks is to get my bridesmaid's zippers and stuff for their dress and I need to start looking into hotels for our out-of-town guests. If anyone knows of any pretty cheap hotels in the Richmond & Westheimer area, please let me know.

Tisk Task Tuesday

Well let me first say that I didn't get to finish my task from last week of finalizing the guest list. I am still waiting on Joey's dad to send me his names. I did however get the names from my foster mom and now were up to 140 guests.

I did get to complete a task this weekend that wasn't necessarily on my to-do list for this month. I took my mom shopping for an outfit to wear to the wedding. We got a really nice blue skirt suit outift with some cream color wedged heels and some pearl accessories for $100!

For this week my main task is to get the save the dates ready to mail out. They should arrive this week and my goal is to get them addressed, stuffed and stamped. Hopefully I can mail them out next week!

Thanks to The Knot I am able to keep track of what I need to be doing each month to make sure I don't get behind with wedding stuff. They have this great checklist tool that you can use and depending on when your wedding date is has reminders of this months to dos.

This week my main priority is to get my guest list finalized. I am waiting on a few names from Joey's dad and my foster mom. Right now we have 127 guests on the guest list to be invited. Then I will need to get everyone's addresses because our save the dates will be getting mailed in the next week or two. Hopefully I can get this done by Friday!
