Time to get down to the nitty gritty! We've officially past the month mark and now is time for the tiny details that go into planning a wedding. Last week Joey and I ordered our gifts for the guys in the wedding party. We bought personalized shot glasses for the groomsmen and personalized bats for the ring bearer and ushers since they aren't old enough to drink and they LOVE baseball.
This past Saturday we had our food tasting at the venue and finalized the timeline for the day of. We decided on the classic ceasar salad followed by the grilled chicken breast topped with a red wine mushroom sauce alongside creamy mashed potatoes and gravy and the green bean medley. The food was suprisingly amazing. I think everyone will enjoy.
This weekend Joey has his bachelor party which Im sure he's excited about. That same day we have our last dress fitting and the bridesmaids get their dresses. Mine will still need some finishing touches but will hopefully get mine next week. Also this weekend I have a makeup trial appointment with a friend of my cousin who has offered to do our makeup. Im going for something natural and light. Here is a pic of the look i'm going for.
What do you think?

Cute idea with the personalized bats for the younger boys! Your food sounds delicious! Hope your make-up trial goes well!
When my husband and I applied for our license, we had to go to the coroner's office!! Just a little creepy. Here we were, getting married in a few days, and we have to go to a place about death. No, thank you.
Also, that makeup looks beautiful! You should do it!
